Inside my head

I'm not sure if this is just a creative person's problem, or if it happens to everyone, but I'm having a very difficult time distinguishing fantasy from reality right now. I have extremely vivid, realistic dreams that have always made me question those involved if the even actually occurred. This has been a problem for me for a long time, even before I started writing.
That being said, I've always lived in a sort of fantasy world to escape my reality. So, is not being able to distinguish fantasy from reality just a problem for me, or do other, more "normal" people suffer from this as well?
Here's an example of what's been going on. I went to bed the other night and started dreaming of edits, fb posts, twitter feeds and general behind-the-scenes author type stuff. They were extremely vivid, detailed dreams, but the whole time I was dreaming, I knew I was dreaming. When I woke, I discovered that everything I'd dreamt about had actually been done.
Last night, I went to sleep and slept so deeply I don't remember dreaming. When I woke, some of my furniture had been moved around in my living room. I'm the only one here, and I know I didn't move the rug or the chair, but they've been moved.
Another thing that's been happening is that I think I've had conversations with people that have never happened. I'll get frustrated at having to repeat myself, when in reality, this is the first anyone is hearing of these comments.
Perhaps I'm going crazy. Maybe I'm already there. In either case, the muse and I have been writing up a storm and I've been very happy with my life. Just confused on reality and fantasy.

Memoir

I ran across this photo on my Facebook profile. It reminded me of what I'm going through right now and I thought I'd share it with you all. A book I wasn't planning on writing, in fact, vehemently didn't want to write, is flowing onto the pages. The story is difficult for me to put into words, knowing it will be judged and that feelings will be hurt, but the thoughts won't stop coming. The story refuses to be silent. It's the story of my life.

NKOTB Nerd

My sister graduated from nursing school a few weeks before her birthday. For a combo present, I splurged and picked up (almost - 5 rows back) front row tickets and a hotel suite in the Luxor for this past weekend.
View from our room.
After driving 7 hours to Vegas, walking the strip in the noon-day heat, shopping, eating and laughing, we stumbled back into our room to change for the concert. We raced over to the Mandalay Bay Event Center and found our amazing seats just as Boys 2 Men were finishing their first song.

Boys 2 Men with flower petals falling from the sky.

My sister totally geeked out watching them perform, and I'll admit, it was fantastic! If you get a chance to hit up Vegas starting in August, check them out at the Mirage! :) We moved from their energizingly fantastic performance to 98 degrees! I <3 Nick Lachey (HUGE fangirl crush!!!)

OMgomgOMG!!! There he is!!!

I could actually see the sweat dripping off him! SO super cute! I was in fangirl heaven - and it wasn't even CLOSE to being over yet!!!

NKOTB arrive!
New Kids on the Block arrive amidst hundreds of screaming girls and some unfortunate boyfriends. I've loved them since they first became popular, I was about 7 years old. I'd never had the opportunity to see them in concert before, and was absolutely THRILLED to have been able to have had this opportunity now when I could appreciate it more. It was hard to remember they were all in their 40s-50s with how absolutely stunning their vocals, choreography and abs were!
